Frances's practice interprets sound, freehand drawing and weaving as being imprints of textile memories. She is interested in exploring materiality as a tangible form of social fabric which can be interpreted through environmental soundscapes. Her multidisciplinary approach captures deconstructed rhythms of places, objects and memories and translates them into woven works of art.
